South Lancs. Arts Partnership (S.L.A.P)  is an agency set up to encourage cultural diversity and to promote arts through education for young people in rural areas. Within terms of best value and equal opportunities S.L.A.P, promotes, encourages, and facilitates expansion and the professional development of art forms and artists in low income neighbourhoods, focusing on delivery to young people in these rural areas through education and interaction with artists, using artistic expression to encourage caring, creative and positive attitudes.
